Call for ISCSLP 2016 Special Sessions

We are pleased to announce that the 10th International Symposium Chinese Spoken Language Processing (ISCSLP 2016) will be held in Tianjin on October 17-20, 2016. ISCSLP is a biennial conference for scientists, researchers, and practitioners to report and discuss the latest progress in Chinese spoken language processing and relevant areas. More information about ISCSLP 2016 are available at:

ISCSLP 2016 Organizing Committee is now inviting special session proposals. Special sessions are to complement the regular technical programme with inter-disciplinary topics and/or important emerging areas of interest in relevant areas. Each special session is focused on a specific topic, and each special session should comprise no more than 5 papers.

The following information should be included in the proposal:

The conference will allow any authors submit papers to the special sessions. To ensure quality of the submissions, all papers submitted to the special sessions will be reviewed through the same review process as papers in the regular sessions. If a special session has more than 5 papers being accepted, some of the papers will be moved to the regular sessions.

Special session proposals will be evaluated by the Organizing Committee based on the importance of the topic and its relevance to ISCSLP, as well as the qualification of the organizer(s) and quality of the invited papers. Once the proposal has been approved, the proposed session will be registered in the conference system to accept submissions, and the special session co-chairs will assist the organizer(s) to arrange the review process.
